DTX, whose real name is Derrick Gaitara, is a Kenyan music producer and songwriter who has been active in the music industry for over 10 years. He has become known for his versatile production style, encompassing various genres, including pop, electronic, hip-hop, R&B, dancehall, afrobeat, trap, drill, dubstep, and EDM.

DTX’s work has been well-received by both fans and industry insiders. He has produced a number of hit songs, including “Rhumba Japani” by Sauti Sol, “Simple Lover” and “Mastory” by P-Unit member Gabu, “Bash Bash” by Kristoff, “Bablas” and “DaboTap’’ Remix by the Kansoul, “Ride” and “Show Off” by Rosa, “Take it Down” by Steff Kapela, “100 Bars” by Noti Flo, “Us” by Boutross, “Some Some” by Yviona and King Kaka, and “Peng Ting” by Kagwe Mungai.
