KENKEY FOR THE NEEDY RETURNS IN DENIM EDITION TO TRANSFORM NOAKROM SCHOOL

Tatas and Friends Foundation is ready for its popular Kenkey for the Needy fundraiser with a denim-themed twist. The 7th edition of the event aims to raise GHC150,000 to refurbish the NoaKrom School in the Western Region.

Scheduled for August 3rd, 2024, at the Efua Sutherland Children’s Park, the event promises a day of fun, food, and philanthropy. Attendees will indulge in Ghana’s beloved kenkey and its assorted accompaniments while enjoying live music, games, and a vibrant atmosphere.

“We’re thrilled to bring back Kenkey for the Needy after a brief hiatus,” said Caritas Violet Naa Ayele Aryee, Founder of Tatas and Friends Foundation. “The need for conducive educationfacilities in communities like NoaKrom is urgent. We believe that by investing in our schools, we are investing in the future of our nation.”

Since its inception in 2015, Kenkey for the Needy has raised funds to support several schools across Ghana, including those in the North, Dodowa, and Cape Coast.

To ensure an unforgettable experience, award-winning DJs Adom and Mzorstin will be spinning the hottest tracks, while MC Wazza, Anaafi Gyarteng, MC Amu Mawutoh, and MC Daniel will keep the crowd entertained.

The 2024 Kenkey For The Needy event is supported by Hollard Ghana, Volta Catch, Ice Drop, Icebox Water, Jubail Specialist Hospital, Scent Ethic, Blackgate Restrooms, Kenkey HQ and Stews n Chows.

Tatas and Friends Foundation invites everyone to come dressed in their best denim attire and join the movement to transform the lives of NoaKrom students.
