Spotify brings Afro Nation Portugal 2026 to fans worldwide with exclusive performance videos

The first wave of exclusive performance videos from Afro Nation Portugal 2026 is now available on Spotify. Captured live at the festival in Portimão, the videos feature standout moments from four of the weekend’s biggest acts – Wizkid, Tyla, Olamide and Young Jonn bringing the energy of Afro Nation to fans worldwide.

Four select performance videos go live today, with an additional eight to follow in the coming weeks:

• Wizkid – “Ojuelegba”

• Tyla – “Is It Love”

• Olamide – “Durosoke”

• Young Jonn – “Xtra Cool”

The performance videos are available to watch exclusively on Spotify.

The videos are part of Spotify’s partnership with Afro Nation Portugal 2026 as official sponsor and exclusive streaming partner. Select performances from each artist have been captured and edited into individual videos, available through the dedicated Afro Nation destination on Spotify; a home for festival content, featured artists and selected performance videos.

The lineup reflects the truly global footprint of Afrobeats and African music on Spotify. In the last 28 days alone, Tyla’s top streaming markets span the US, UK, Brazil, Germany and the Philippines. Wizkid is being streamed most in the US, Nigeria, the UK, Mexico and France, while Olamide’s top markets include Nigeria, the US, UK, France and Germany. Young Jonn rounds out the bill with listeners tuning in from Nigeria, the US, UK, Indonesia and Ghana, a testament to how far the sound travels.

“Afro Nation brings together the artists, fans and culture shaping African music right now and we wanted to help that energy reach people wherever they are,” said Rifumo Mdaka, Content Marketing Manager for Spotify in Sub-Saharan Africa. “By bringing the festival to Spotify, we’re giving fans a place to connect with the performances and stories that define the weekend, long after the final set.”

This release is the latest in a growing catalogue of exclusive live performance content on Spotify, following recent concert videos including Bad Bunny in Tokyo, Olivia Rodrigo in Barcelona and Skye Newman in London.

The Afro Nation partnership builds on Spotify’s ongoing commitment to African music, from the launch of Afrobeats: Journey of a Billion Streams, a dedicated site tracking the genre’s rise, cultural impact and streaming milestones, to last year’s Afrobeats: Culture in Motion project, which traced five years of the genre’s evolution through a documentary, immersive microsite and a fashion showcase in Lagos.
